Design and Form Factor

The UPS features a 2U rack-mountable chassis that can also be deployed in a tower configuration, offering flexibility to fit structured racks or standalone cabinets. The unit’s compact dimensions (approximately 438 mm width × 86.5 mm height × 573 mm depth) make it suitable for standard 19-inch rack environments and controlled indoor spaces. The robust enclosure is rated IP20, providing protection appropriate for office, IT, and light industrial settings.

A user-friendly LCD display enables real-time monitoring of UPS status, load levels, and battery condition, which supports ease of local operation and diagnostics.

Power, Performance, and Protection

As an online double-conversion UPS, the PowerValue 11RT G2 continuously converts incoming AC power to DC and back to AC, delivering a pure sine-wave output that isolates the connected load from common input power disturbances such as surges, voltage sags, frequency variations, and electrical noise. This topology delivers high-quality, uninterrupted power suited to sensitive and mission-critical equipment.

The UPS also features a unity output power factor (1.0), enabling efficient use of its rated capacity. In configurations requiring increased capacity or redundancy, up to three units can be connected in parallel to achieve greater total output power or higher availability.

Connectivity and Management

The unit provides standard USB and RS-232 communication ports for basic connectivity and remote management. In addition, it includes slots for optional network communication cards such as SNMP, enabling deeper integration with power management systems and centralized monitoring platforms.

Additional interface options—including potential-free contacts and environmental monitoring probes—further support integration with third-party automation and alert systems, helping IT teams manage power events across distributed infrastructure.
