The Eaton 9PX11KIBP is a high‑performance 11 kVA / 10 kW online double‑conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) engineered to deliver continuous, clean power for mission‑critical IT equipment, servers, networking infrastructure, and industrial systems. Designed in a versatile 6U rack/tower form factor, this UPS provides robust electrical protection and high efficiency for demanding enterprise environments.

Double‑Conversion Technology & Output Performance

At the heart of the 9PX11KIBP is online double‑conversion topology, which isolates connected loads from mains voltage irregularities by continuously converting incoming AC power to DC and then back to regulated AC. This ensures a pure sine‑wave output at a 0.9 power factor, delivering 10 kW of usable real power from the 11 kVA rating—approximately 28 % more usable power than many UPS units of similar VA class.

The UPS supports single‑phase input and output with a nominal 230 V output (configurable for other regional voltages) and maintains tight voltage regulation with ±1 % accuracy. A built‑in internal bypass ensures continuity of service during internal maintenance or UPS fault conditions, while HotSync parallel operation technology allows multiple units to operate together for scalability and redundancy.

Battery & Runtime Flexibility

This model features hot‑swappable sealed lead‑acid batteries with Advanced Battery Management (ABM) and temperature‑compensated charging to extend service life and maximize reliability. The UPS automatically recognizes external battery units (EBMs), enabling flexible runtime extension to meet varying backup duration requirements. Typical runtime is around 10 minutes at half load, and it increases significantly with EBMs added.

The hot‑swappable capability means batteries can be serviced or replaced without powering down connected equipment—critical in high‑availability applications.
